The Project Engineer is responsible for turning design concepts into buildable reality—owning the process from interpreting architectural plans to delivering precise shop and fabrication drawings. The Project Engineer plays a key role in ensuring every project is engineered for efficiency, quality, and ease of installation. This individual must be in tune with both the client needs and the needs of Mesa’s shop and fabrication team, knowing how to solve complex problems based on a multitude of factors. Take designs from concept, to accurate 3D models, and into construction drawings for both clients and the build team.Produce clear, client-facing shop drawings and renderings for approvals.Develop detailed build drawings for fabrication with minimal ambiguity.Create CNC-ready files and collaborate with CNC operators on execution.Coordinate with shop foreman to align designs with production capabilities.Conduct site surveys and field measurements to ensure accuracy.Compile material takeoffs with accurate yields for purchasing.Assist in the management of jobs to ensure deadlines are met.Support material sourcing and vendor coordination.Act as the liaison between Project Managers, clients, vendors, and the shop team.

Based in Ashland City, we specialize in custom furniture and architectural millwork for Nashville’s most unique commercial spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends team coordination, production scheduling, and top-tier craftsmanship.
Job Role
The Install Foreman is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects during the installation phase, from initial site preparation to final punch list completion. This role requires both project management skills and hands-on installation capabilities. The Install Foreman ensures trade coordination, maintains schedules, oversees install teams, and guarantees high-quality and timely installations. When necessary, the Install Foreman may also assist with shop activities.
Responsibilities
• Oversee smooth installation of millwork and cabinetry, proactively identifying and addressing complications or delays.• Collaborate with the Production Team to create practical timelines and efficient install strategies.• Supervise and train install teams to maintain high-quality work and performance.• Assign tasks to installers on a weekly/daily basis on par with their abilities to get the task completed in a given timeline at high quality• Monitor job site progress against project timelines, revising and submitting updated schedules as needed to avoid delays.• Ensure design specifics outlined by project engineers are adhered to with precision.• Approve and manage install team hours for payroll bi-weekly.• Maintain and manage the company’s fleet of install vehicles, ensuring they are clean, equipped, fully stocked and functional.
Qualifications
• Experience in millwork, cabinetry, and related installation fields.• Strong project management and leadership skills.• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

The Pre-construction Manager supports the pre-construction and estimating process from initial project intake through project handoff to operations. This role assists with estimating, develops preliminary project timelines, manages material samples, and coordinates submittals in support of the Project Manager.This position plays a key role in setting projects up for success by ensuring accurate pricing, clear timelines, and organized documentation before fabrication and installation begin.The ideal candidate for this position will have a robust, multi-year background in millwork and custom fabrication and the ability to read architectural drawings, visualize assemblies, and understand wood and metal materials and finishes. This is a highly detail oriented position and will require the ability to self organize. Computer skills are required.
Key Responsibilities

Job Role
This posting is for a mid to senior level bench carpenter who is capable of autonomously building millwork projects from drawing sets. From casework, bent laminations, table tops, banquette internals and large scale wall paneling installations, you will be responsible for taking on portions of projects from start to finish. All aspects of drawings and finish are handled by other departments, though any level of finish experience is a plus. This position works on the main floor in tandem with five other bench carpenters and reports directly to the millwork foreman.Responsibilities
