Mesa Shop

Forever

Mesa spent its first ten years in WeHo — a neighborhood we loved and helped build. When it was time to move on, we found 208 N. Main Street in Ashland City: a 20,000 square foot concrete block building on an acre, sitting right in the heart of downtown. It wasn't purpose-built for manufacturing, but it had character. After a town hall and a zoning variance, it was ours.
The plan isn't to keep growing indefinitely. There's an additional 11,000 square foot building on the property that could open up more manufacturing space when the time is right, but for now the focus is on getting better in the space we have. We miss being in the heart of Nashville. We're grateful to build for the spaces that took ours.
The building had been a gun and archery range. We've since turned it into a working millwork studio across 2.5 levels, connected by a freight elevator that keeps production moving floor to floor. The remodel has been ongoing but is largely complete — office and creative space up front, fabrication throughout. We've been able to make lasting investments here in a way that renting in Nashville never allowed.
