Lettuce Entertain You came back to Mesa for their second Nashville location after Aba. Sushi-san landed in 12 South's Ashwood development, designed in collaboration with Remick Architecture.
The space wasn't ready for our scope until weeks before opening. We moved fast — bringing in subs to live on site to hit the date. Over 100 ceiling beams were fabricated from HPL laminated to MDF, a spec that kept costs in check, delivered a consistent look throughout, and guarantees they'll stay straight as they free float indefinitely. We also built the bar from the ground up, wall paneling, a bar cloud, casework, slats, and ceiling treatment throughout.
It's a massive millwork install on a tight timeline. On a Sunday night there's rarely an empty table — we'll take that as a good sign.
